Novels and non-fiction come as EPUB, PDF and TXT. Comics and picture books come as EPUB and PDF; the EPUB is fixed-layout, which is what Kindle wants for anything illustrated. Screenplays come as PDF and TXT, set in 12pt Courier to the standard the industry reads.

Yes, that is what the output is built around. The EPUB meets KDP’s requirements and the cover is generated at 1600x2560, the size KDP asks for, so both upload as they come. Screenplays are not a KDP product; that PDF is for readers, agents and competitions.

Amazon KDP asks you to declare AI-generated content when you upload, and the declaration is between you and Amazon; it is not printed on your book or shown to readers. Other platforms differ, so check the guidelines wherever you are publishing. Disclosing does not stop you selling the book on KDP.

No. Your credits refresh in full every 30 days, and anything you did not use in that period is not carried forward. The cycle starts the day you subscribe, so if you join on the 14th your credits reset on the 14th of each month.

Yes. The cover studio works on its own, for books written anywhere. Describe the book and you get a set of three finished covers to choose from. Your first one is free, one per email address. After that it is $6.99 for three covers, $9.99 for five or $17.99 for ten, and every subscription includes covers as well.

Any time, and you keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Credits do not outlive the cycle they were issued in, so spend them before that date rather than saving them up.

If a generation fails outright, comes back substantially incomplete, or will not download, tell us within 7 days of the purchase and you get a full refund.
